Hạ Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a popular travel destination, Hạ Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960 islets, most of which are limestone. The core of the bay has an area of 334 km2 with a high density of 775 islets.The limestone in this bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and environments. The evolution of the karst in this bay has taken 20 million years under the impact of the tropical wet climate. The geo-diversity of the environment in the area has created biodiversity, including a tropical evergreen biosystem, oceanic and sea shore biosystem. Ha Long Bay is home to 14 endemic floral species and 60 endemic faunal species.

Itinerary:

Day 1. Ha Noi – Halong Bay, 170 km, 4 hr ride.

Leaving Hanoi and breaking out of the Red River Delta, we travel to the Southeast through country and extensive farming lands comprising a sea of paddy fields split by tree-lined roads. After a stop over in Bac Ninh for coffee, we continue the ride by taking a small road going through many villages. Arrive in Ha Long City around lunch time. Check-in hotel, lunch. In the after noon, we will take a boat trip to visit Ha Long Bay and its islands, return to the harbor. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 2. Ha Long – Ha Noi, 170km, 4hr ride.

A new day wake you up with joys and emotions in an early morning for watching sunrise on sea. We ride back to Hanoi by taking many trails going through the red river Delta. Arrive in Hanoi by 5 pm, tour ends.
